Most business websites are falling apart.
Slow pages, layouts that break on phones, contact details nobody can find. Customers leave before they ever call.
Is yours falling apart? We rebuild outdated business websites into ones that win you customers, then keep them running.
How it works
Slow pages, layouts that break on phones, contact details nobody can find. Customers leave before they ever call.
We look for businesses whose websites are slow, broken on phones or stuck in 2010.
A short, honest message: what is holding your site back and what we would change. No pressure, no obligation.
Like the plan? We sign one clear contract. Every package is built around your business, not a price list.
We launch your new site, then keep it fast, safe and up to date with optional maintenance.
One partner for the whole job: the new website, and keeping it in shape afterwards if you want us to.

A fast, modern website designed around your customers, written in plain language and built to turn visits into calls, bookings and orders.

Updates, backups, security checks and small edits, so your site never goes stale again.

Most visitors arrive on a phone, so every page is designed for small screens first.

Clean structure, fast pages and local search basics so nearby customers can find you.

Contact, quote and booking requests that land straight in your inbox.

SSL, reliable hosting and your domain set up properly. The website and its content belong to you.

Get a free reviewWe came across your website and noticed a few things holding it back, like slow loading or a layout that breaks on phones. If you are happy with it, no problem at all.
It depends on what your business needs. After a free review you get a fixed quote and a clear scope, so there are no surprises later.
Half when we start, half when your new site goes live. The price is fixed in the contract before any work begins.
Most small business websites take two to four weeks once we have your texts and photos. Bigger projects get a timeline in the contract.
It helps if you have them, but you do not have to. We can write clear texts with you and prepare suitable images.
Software updates, backups, security checks, fixing anything that breaks and small content changes like new opening hours or prices. Monthly or only when needed.
Yes. We work with your existing domain and leave your email setup untouched.
Yes. You can change texts, photos and prices yourself, and we show you how. Or just send the changes to us.
Any business that needs a better website, from cafés and clinics to trades, shops and IT companies.
Yes. We work with businesses anywhere, in English or Romanian.
You do. Once the project is paid, the website and its content belong to your business.
About
Comet Websites is a one-person studio. When you work with us, you work with me, from the first call to launch day and after.
I build websites and apps. I've designed, built and published two Android apps on Google Play, and several web projects, including a live fuel price tracker.
I lived and worked in Dublin for seven years, and I'm based here again. I know most business owners don't have time to think about their website. That's my job.
One person, one point of contact, no account managers.

Short version: we only collect what you send us through the contact form, we use it to reply to you, and we never sell it.
Comet Websites is a one-person web design studio run by Dragos Andries. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Comet Websites. We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at any time through the contact form on this website.
When you fill in the contact form, we receive the details you choose to give us:
We don't ask for anything else, and you don't need an account to use this website.
We use these details to reply to you, review your current website, and prepare a proposal if you ask for one. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider counts visits and keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed) so the site runs safely and reliably.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Links to other websites, like Google Play, are covered by those websites' own privacy policies.
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to handle your request. If we don't end up working together, we delete them within 2 years. If we do work together, we keep what the law requires, such as invoices.
You can ask us to show you, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Just send us a message through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

These terms cover your use of this website and how we work with clients. In short: everything is agreed in writing before work starts, and you own your website once it's paid for.
The information on this website is general and may change. The example businesses shown, such as NorthGate IT Solutions and Riverside Dental, are fictional concepts made to show our work.
Asking for a free review doesn't commit you to anything. We'll look at your current website and tell you honestly what we would change.
Every project starts with a written proposal that sets out the scope, price and timeline. Once you accept it, that proposal is our agreement. If it ever differs from these terms, the proposal wins.
Payments are due as set out in the proposal. If an invoice stays unpaid, we may pause work until it's settled.
You're responsible for the text, photos and logos you give us, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You keep ownership of everything you provide.
Once the project is fully paid, you own the final website we made for you. We may show it in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Ongoing maintenance is optional and billed monthly. You can cancel with the notice period stated in your proposal.
Hosting, domain names and other third-party services have their own terms, which apply alongside ours.
We take care with every project, but we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown at the top. Questions? Send us a message through the contact form.
